What is the Leeds Anime & Gaming Con?

They started out as just an online internet forum, but quickly grew into something more with the help of their passionate members. They are now professional and run events across England for anime lovers like you!

The group is so big now that they have their own online forums, social media pages and real-life meetups. They run over fifty events a year ranging from small free community gatherings to full scale conventions with watered down drinks for everyone!

If you’re looking for a place to learn some new tricks and techniques, then this is the alley. You’ll find their work all over – inside of Artist’s Alley at any anime convention!

Anime/Geek Exhibitors 

With a endless stream of anime and gaming merchandise, DVDs, manga at the event you’re guaranteed not only to find what your looking for but also have an awesome time doing so!

Live J-Pop/Anime themed Performers 

The celebration of Japanese pop culture will be a great event with live performances from J-pop and anime inspired singers. There’s also some other cool stuff happening at this time!

Cosplay

Cosplay is the ultimate way to express your creativity and passion. With top prizes for all ages, there are many ways you can get involved in this festival that will make both your wallet and body happy!

The Two Cosplay Contests aka The Cosplay Masquerades 

Cosplay is more than just a way to dress up as your favourite character, it’s an art form where fans can express themselves through creativity and fashion. At these Cosplay masquerade events there are always prizes worth hundreds between them (£100 cash for Sunday winner).

The top 3 winners from Saturday and Sunday’s Cosplay Masquerade will have a chance to qualify for one of this year’s most prestigious events, London Anime & Gaming Con! 

Cosplay Guests, Talks & Workshops

Cosplay is a huge part of any anime culture event and this year’s expo will not disappoint. There are many confirmed cosplayer appearances including ones who specialise in different styles like steampunk or maidens fairytale costumes! You won’t want to miss their workshops where they’ll teach beginners how to make props while teaching advanced techniques such as making Worbla armour pieces which can be customised depending on your own needs and much more!!

A Fun Time for Cosplayers 

Cosplay Auction is where you can put your contribution up for bid or choose one lucky person who deserves it more than anyone else.  The serious and professional events will be easy to navigate, but don’t worry – there are also silly ones available if that’s what suits the mood!

Cosplay Chillout & Photography Area 

Cosplay is in! There’ll be an area set aside for customers to hang out and relax with their friends or take photos without interruption from other attendees.

You’ll be able to win tickets and prizes like Smash Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 or beatsaber! With nearly a dozen different events happening with varying levels of difficulty (from beginner all the way up), there will surely interest your taste in gaming. Get ready for an amazing time at next Anime & Gaming Con when you enter some tournaments.

These events are great for gamers of all levels. They offer the opportunity to play through some classic games in addition to new releases on current consoles, which means there’s always something fun waiting just around every corner!

You’ll never run out of options to keep you entertained at this store. Whether it’s an old favourite or one-of-a kind find, they have what you’re looking for! They offer consoles such as NES(Famicom), SNES MegaDrive/Genesis , Master System /SMS + many more modern systems so there is something here sure will appeal no matter how much experience levels vary among gamers in the family.

PC Gaming & Indie Gaming

There are always some top-of the line computers available, along with your favourite old school and new indie games. At any given time there’s something going down when it comes to legit pixel perfection!

Dub That Anime 

Dub 30 seconds from any movie and live on stage at the same time! The funnier (or more creative) is better because we want people who are into making videos together as opposed to just individuals!!

The Talent Show 

The sky’s the limit when you get to show off your talent. They’re looking for 10 talented performers who will be rewarded with £50 cash prizes as well as opportunities to develop their act in front of a judges’ panel, so what are you waiting for? Get ready because you’ll have some fun at their upcoming event!

Lip Sync Battle

If you’re looking for a fun way to get up and dance the night away, then come check out their Lip Sync performances!

You want to have a good time? You are at the right place! With the ticket, you will be able access all events up until midnight on Saturday and Sunday. They provide free glow sticks for those who need them so they can join in on some fun with us while singing their favourite songs from across genres. It’s like karaoke earlier in the evening before moving onto more geeky activities or cheesy tunes that everyone loves listening to as part of this weekend’s convention package deal.

Travel

• If you’re looking to get there from the train station, the National Rail website is an excellent resource. The site has all of your tickets right there in one place and if you get them 12 weeks before you will save money.
• Coach/Bus Travel – To find the cheapest ticket, we recommend you search through national express and megabus websites 12 weeks prior to your journey.
• Parking is available at Leeds Marriott. The daily fee is £16, and you must validate your ticket at reception once there as well!
  Once upon entering through gates on the right side look out towards the car park straight ahead.
