Three PC Builds At Three Price Ranges
If you’re looking for the best budget gaming PC for your money in 2022, you’ve come to the right place. In this blog post, we’re taking a look at three different gaming PC builds at varying budget ranges.- Each perfect for any gamer on a tight budget. So, whether you’re looking to play the latest games at high settings or want a machine that can handle most games, we have you covered.
Each of the builds featured in this guide are not pre-built systems. To get the best bang for your buck, we recommend building a system by yourself using guides – Such as our how to build a PC guide – or with the help of a friend or professional who knows what they’re doing. PCs may seem intimidating to put together by yourself, but we promise they’re just like big adult lego sets!
Please note that system component prices fluctuate on a daily basis. Thanks to crypto miners and supply chain problems, your total cost may come out higher (or lower!) than the total we reached when building these systems. Feel free to ask in the comments if you find an alternative component and want an opinion on it!
This blog features:
Let’s get started!

This PC was built with upgradability in mind. The Ryzen 7 5700G APU is an incredible CPU with capable graphics. This APU will suffice to play any Esports title such as Valorant, League, Dota, Fortnite or CSGO at a respectable framerate. But where this build shines is its upgradability. It provides an incredibly potent platform ready to accept a GPU, such as the GTX 2060 in our $700 build. Once a powerful GPU has been installed, this system will rival most $1000+ system builds out there. So if you’re on a budget, we recommend this machine to be the place to start whilst you save a little bit of extra cash for your choice of GPU.
The $600 Build
This budget gaming PC build is for those who want a little more power out of their system. This build includes a faster CPU and a step-up in GPU power via a dedicated graphics card that will let you enjoy the latest games on higher settings. Plus, we’ve added in some extras like an SSD to make sure your system is as snappy as possible. Similar to the previous build, we’ve added a few peripheral recommendations which we hold in high regard for the best quality for the price. This machine is the best value gaming machine we could fathom for $700. This beast will churn through any modern AAA title and will give hundreds of FPS on any esports title. If you’re looking for the best your money can buy whilst still on a budget, then this is the machine to aim for. The only alternative we would recommend for 4% extra CPU performance is if you can get the Ryzen 5 5600 (without the G). However, we’ve noticed that the 5600G is often cheaper and on offer more often than the 5600, and for over $50 saved, we think the trade-off is minimal. This machine boasts the upgraded and faster Crucial MX500 SSD, but our recommendation is to put an M.2 such as the Samsung 970 Evo into the system as soon as possible. This allows your PC to boot faster, and run games with almost no load time, making this already beast of a PC feel like a monster. As always, feel free to comment below and we will share our thoughts for alternatives or deals you might have found!
