What Is DreamHack Dallas 2022?

DreamHack is a unique gaming experience where you can connect with other gamers and explore new cultures. You will find everything from professional esports tournaments such as IEM Dallas 2022 and the CRL World Championship to amateur game playing sessions for all ages in the family-friendly environment of our festival grounds! The BYOC LAN party gives visitors access to the huge LAN network without having any technical knowledge at hand – simply bring your own system! DreamHack Dallas offers cosplay competitions, art exhibits, the Dream Shop and massive music performances from international artists.

Main Tournament Events

• Counter Strike: Global Offensive
  • Intel Extreme Masters at DreamHack Dallas 2022 – From June 3-5, 2022, Intel Extreme Masters will come to Dallas, taking place in the main arena where 16 teams will compete for $250,000.
  • All-Women CS:GO Circuit – Season 1 Global Finals – $150,000

• Fortnite Amateur Open – Come to Dallas and battle it out for $25.000. You have to bring your own computer or console to participate in this tournament.
• The Collegiate Rocket League 2022 – This is the first major intercontinental competition for collegiate Rocket League teams and players, where the best students from both NA and EU compete for their invite to the CRL World Championship!

BYOC

Dreamhack is all about the experience, and this year’s event will be no different! The BYOC (or “Bring Your Own Computer”) area of DreamHack festivals offers you reserved seats with power outlets for your gear. You’ll also have a foldable chair to relax on while playing games or chatting online.

Get a break from the hustle and bustles of con life with our exclusive cosplay lounge. You’ll have access to dressing rooms, snacks galore (and even some drinks!), as well as wardrobe repairs using specialized equipment in case you need help getting ready for your next big event!

Tabletop

DreamHack is all about creating immersive experiences for gamers. DreamHack Dallas will have an entire Magic: The Gathering Showdown event filled with competition, community and fun! There are top competitors as well as casual players at this year’s Dreamhack tabletop area.

Live Music

Join for a day of music, laughter and good times! DreamHack have signed up some amazing headliners that will keep you on your feet. And if it rains? No problem – their indoor venue has plenty to offer in terms or space as well entertainment so all ages are welcome at this event!

Expo

Think of the expo as an open-air museum, with each booth being a separate exhibit. You can tour all corners and still find new surprises at every turn!

Artist Alley

The DreamHack artist alley is a great place to find unique pieces for your collection. You’ll be able to come across some amazing artwork, from original works of comic books and pop culture sculptures all the way down to cosplay outfits worn by attendees who came here looking for just as much fun!

Creators

The DreamHack experience just got even better. DreamHack have expanded their reach to include a Creator Hub, where you can stream live and interact with your community in new ways that are uniquely tailored for content creators like yourself! Stream Studio is an integral part of both the old school gamer or seasoned pro – check it out!

Meet & Greet

The Meet and Greet Stage is a flexible space that can be used for traditional meet-and-greets, interviews, panels or even Q&A sessions. It’s located next door to where teams will set up their own booths at DreamHack Dallas which makes it convenient if you’re just looking for some face time with your favourite creator!

Creator Lab

The Creator Lab is a space where you can find inspiration for your next project or just learn about what’s new in the industry. You’ll be able to connect with other likeminded creatives, try out products that are on offer from brands at various stages of development.

Creator Studio

What if you could have a show that was all yours? Creator Studio allows creators to bring their podcasts, interviews, Q&A’s and more right into the world. Collab with community members or friends; it’s your content- do whatever YOU want! All equipment is provided for the live stream/ recording – there are no limits on how much creativity will flow through these doors when everyone has access at once!
