What is EPIC LAN?

EPIC LAN is a gaming event which takes place 3 times a year, with EPIC36 happening from the 7th to the 10th of July 2022 in Kettering, UK. The event will feature a number of tournaments, cosplay competitions, and other activities. It is run by an independent community that offers a wide selection of recreational games and amateur esports competitions. EPIC LAN parties range in size from 32 to 750 participants. EPIC LAN also has their own in-house tournaments for a plethora of competitive games which they host at their events. The next EPIC LAN event is EPIC36, which will take place at the Kettering Conference Centre.

EPIC LAN is a great opportunity for gamers of all levels to come together and compete. There’s always a wide variety of games available to play, so there is something for everyone. EPIC LAN is also a great way to meet new people and make new friends. If you are looking for a gaming event to attend, EPIC LAN is definitely one to consider!

Tournaments

Counter Strike: Global Offensive

  • Prize pool: £2,000 – £3,750 (subject to team numbers)

Cosplay

EPIC LAN is a great place to show off your cosplay skills! There will be a cosplay competition taking place over the weekend, with prizes up for grabs. For more information, and to sign up, visit the EPIC LAN website.

  • Spectator 1 Day Ticket – Come along and watch the action at EPIC36 – Up to 24h – £15.00
  • Spectator Full Event – Come along and watch the action all weekend at EPIC36 – £30.00
  • BYOC Participant – FAIR ISLE, LAKESIDE & PORTLAND – Bring your own computer to play for fun or compete in esports tournaments in the EPIC36 halls – £78.50
  • Bamburgh Full Room – 18 player clan room – Maximum of 1 ticket per person. – £1,413.00
  • Longstone Full Room – 24 Player Private Room – Maximum of 1 ticket per person. – £1,884.00

Q What do I need to bring to EPIC LAN?

Here's the full list of items we recommend: Your Check-in Barcode (Go To My Bookings --> Print Booking), Computer (PC or laptop), Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Mouse power cable and wireless receiver (if wireless), Mouse mat, Headphones, Microphone, Cables, 4 gang socket adaptor, Power cables for base unit and monitor, Monitor cable (DVI/HDMI/Displayport etc), Phone charger, Camera, Food/drink (note that you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol into the venue), Money/Credit & Debit Cards.

Q What are EPIC LAN's Covid Policies?

EPIC LAN has put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of all attendees in light of the COVID pandemic. These measures include temperature checks on arrival, a one-way system in place throughout the venue, and increased cleaning schedules. Q Are there PCs available to rent at EPIC LAN?

Certain events will have a limited number of PCs available to hire, these will be available alongside ticket bookings if they are on offer for that event. - EPIC.LAN is primarily a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) event, so you will need to bring your normal playing setup with you including all cables, monitor, mouse, keyboard, headset etc. Note that when the booking system says there are no more PCs left to rent, they have all gone and no more can be provided by EPIC LAN.
