Glasgow Anime & Gaming Con is a gaming convention that takes place annually in Glasgow, Scotland. The event is one of the largest gaming conventions in the UK, and attracts gamers from all over the world. The convention features a wide variety of gaming tournaments and competitions, as well as opportunities to meet with industry professionals and learn about new gaming products. VIP/Priority can access the venue at 10AM while online standard tickets can do it at 12PM.
Please be aware that you will not be able to queue more than 30 minutes before your ticket type is allowed into the event.

Cosplay has never been so popular, with competitions taking place each day and top prizes up for grabs. You can also find talks on the latest trends in cosplaying or have your photo taken by some professional photographers at this year’s event!
The two Cosplay contests, TheCosplayMasquerade is hosting a prize pool of up to £100s in prizes between them. The Sunday winner will also take home £100 cash.

The top 3 placed winners from Saturday and Sunday’s Cosplay Masquerade will have a chance to qualify for the UK’s Cosplay Championship Finals of this year-long competition, which takes place in London. They will have some of the best cosplayers in Great Britain making an appearance at this year’s event. They’ll be providing presentations throughout each day on different topics including a beginners guide to costume making or how they got started with props and Worbla crafting!

Challenges are a great way for gamers who don’t want to spend too much time playing games. They can jump in and out at their leisure, trying different challenges on various events that change from event-to -event!
Some examples include the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy challenge where you have three minutes with each level; DDR/ Frequency hurdle which requires players dance until they fail or get disqualified (it’s complicated); Racer against time mode similar marbles but instead using cars manufactured by Red Faction Guerrila–and many more so there will always be something new every trip through those doors.

On the day tickets will be sold at 1PM.
They recommend buying online since it will guarantee you have a ticket and also for a cheaper price.
Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Anyone over 18 will be able to enjoy our gaming parties too (just remember to bring ID if you want to join in)
When you purchase your ticket to the gaming event, your name will be added to their guest list. You can then collect your wristband upon entry by presenting a valid ID or a printed or digital copy of your ticket. If you are unable to bring your ticket or ID, you may present a PayPal receipt instead.
If you buy your ticket beforehand you will be able to access it at 12pm. In case you hold Priority or VIP tickets you will be able to access it at 10 am.
For an extra £5, gamers can enter the event at 10AM instead of 12PM, giving them a two-hour head start on the competition. In addition, they’ll receive two clan membership badges (worth £1 each) and 5 Big Geek Raffle tickets.
It is limited to 150 people.
