Godsent, a Swedish professional e-sports organization

Godsent is a Swedish professional e-sports organization. The team was founded in April 2016 by former Fnatic players Andreas “Samuelsson” Samuelsson and Jesper “JW” Wecksell, and CEO of Gods Property Kent “Kentaro” Grundell. The organization also has squads in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch.

Godsent made their debut in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at Dreamhack Summer 2016, where they finished in second place after losing to Gambit Gaming in the grand finals. In September 2016, Godsent signed ex-Team preparare player Robin “flusha” Rönnquist.

Godsent’s History

The organization made their debut in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at Dreamhack Summer 2016, where they managed to take second place after losing to Gambit Gaming in the grand finals.

In September of the same year, Godsent signed ex-Team preparare player Robin “flusha” Rönnquist in order to boost their performance in future tournaments.

Godsent has since then participated in numerous tournaments and leagues, including the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018, where the team placed 9-11th. 

Godsent’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Team

Godsent’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team is composed of skilled Swedish players who have been competing at a professional level for many years.

The team’s current roster includes:

  • Andreas “Samuelsson” Samuelsson
  • Jesper “JW” Wecksell
  • Robin “flusha” Rönnquist
  • Freddy “KRiMZ” Johansson
  • Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin 

The team has been performing well in recent tournaments, such as the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018, where they placed 9-11th.

Godsent’s Heroes of the Storm Team

Godsent also has a Heroes of the Storm team, which is composed of five players from Sweden and Denmark.

The team’s current roster includes:

  • Simon “scHwimpi” Svensson
  • Jesper “Jona” Lindskog
  • Andreas “Crusher” Jeppesen
  • Christoffer “TigerJK” van Riessen

The team has been performing well in recent tournaments, such as the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship Circuit, where they placed 3rd-4th.

Godsent’s Overwatch Team

Godsent’s Overwatch team is composed of six players from Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.

The team has been performing well in recent tournaments, such as the Overwatch PIT Championship – Europe, where they placed 3rd-4th.

Godsent CEO Kentaro’s Interview with Slingshot Esports

In an interview with Slingshot Esports, Godsent CEO Kentaro talked about the organization’s plans for the future and how they plan on becoming one of the top e-sports teams in the world.

Kentaro said that Godsent is currently focusing on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch, but they are also looking to expand into other games in the future.

He also said that the organization is planning on hosting more events and tournaments in order to give their teams more exposure and help them grow.

Kentaro concluded by saying that Godsent is committed to becoming a top e-sports organization and they are always looking for ways to improve.
