What Is Québec Comiccon?

The goal of the Quebec City Comiccon is to provide a venue where people can go and enjoy popular culture in all its forms. Whether it be sci-fi, horror movie stars or anime characters; gamers will find plenty more material for their collections on display at this event! There’s also exhibits with companies demonstrating new products they’ve come out recently such as toys & figures from movies we grew up watching.

The annual event is a celebration of all things pop culture, from movies and TV shows to video games. Dressing up as your favorite character will be sure not only get you some attention but also might just win prizes!

The first Quebec City Comiccon was launched in 2014. The event has grown exponentially, attracting over 10 thousand visitors last year! This fan-based convention features pop culture from a variety of genres such as comics and anime to movies or video games among others – all with an emphasis on being fun for everyone who attends regardless if you’re dressed up like your favorite character from Mad Max: Fury Road or not!

The event is a one stop shop for any genre of fan. The large exhibit room houses some amazing art, there’s an artist alley where you can meet your favorite artists and buy their latest work as well as corporate booths with interactive games to play or even pictures that will take photos just like at home! There are also guest panels throughout the weekend which provide insightful discussion on various topics including comics culture in general while film screenings show off recent releases from DC Comics’ Batman Franchise alongside other Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies

Main Events

OVER 54,000 SQ FT OF SHOPPING MADNESS!

With more than 100 exhibitor booths, the largest ever seen at a Quebec City Comiccon! You can find everything from artwork to toys. The Exhibit Hall showcases artists and products from entertainment genres like: Science Fiction, Horror Movies -both recent releases or classics-, Anime series’, Gaming in all its forms as well as Bande Dessinée (BD) novels translated into English for American readers who want their fix of French language comics books read right now instead on reading later when they’re back home again…

CELEBRITIES ON STAGE

This is your chance to meet some of today’s most famous celebrities! You’ll be able to ask them questions and get an autograph or photo op with the stars during their appearance at this year’s event. And it doesn’t stop there – they’re making sure that everyone who comes has access not only to these special appearances but also full participation in all festivities including live performances by musicians.

PHOTO OPS

Bring your closest friends and family for an unforgettable experience. You’ll be able to enjoy a photo op with one of the talented photographers, who will capture the moment you want in front of their lens! They limit each guest per session at 4 people so make sure you choose wisely!

CELEBRITY AUTOGRAPHS

Guests can meet and get autographs from some of their favorite stars at this celebrity event! You’ll be able to buy 8X10s that are on sale in an area near the signing table, or bring your own item for signing. The cost is usually $75-$200 but varies depending upon which celebrities attend (and what kind). A detailed schedule with information about when signatures will go up for grabs will be released 7 – 10 days before so check back often if you want any chance at getting one without waiting too long after purchasing tickets!

PANELS & WORKSHOPS

The Québec City Comiccon is a three day event that offers an array of panels and workshops, from how to create your own costume or get started in the comics industry. Specialists from all corners on geekdom will be here with their special brand expertise for you!

The Select Start Orchestra is a unique and exciting organization that has been bringing together people from all walks of life to share their love for music. The OSS was created in 2018 by players who desired an opportunity where they could perform original arrangements, mostly tailored specifically around video game themes! They do this through concerts based primarily on game soundtracks as well educational activities geared towards audiences not just kids or millennials but anyone looking forward to it even if you’re old enough yourself!

LA PLANQUE GAMING ZONE

Visit La Planque Jeux Vidéo and enjoy their Gaming Zone at this year’s Comiccon! They have a wide selection of consoles, including all generations from Vectrexes to Switches. You won’t be disappointed in what they’ve got going on – especially if you’re looking for some old school gaming action on the Genesis or Playstation 2 classic games that are sure not to be found anywhere else.

INFINI-JEUX TABLETOP GAMING ZONE

If you’re looking to have some fun in an environment where gamers are accepted and appreciated, go play at our Infini-Jeux Tabletop Gaming Zone. You’ll be able to try out dozens of new games this year with plenty for all abilities available too! There’s no time limit so take as long or short a break when needed – they won’t judge 😉 

This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about tabletop gaming from Quebec creators & editors who will also join us on site during their free moments between work projects.

MASQUERADE

• The Masquerade (Saturday, October 9, 2021 – Main Events Room 200C)

On Saturday, don’t miss out on the big event: a masquerade where you can show off your talents in costume making. Whether they come from comics or Japanese anime and video games – this amateur competition puts favorite heroes onto center stage; there’s no better place for unique creations that will leave audiences impressed.

• The Masquerade Awards (Sunday, Octobre 10, 2021 – Room to be determined)

The Masquerade Awards is an annual event where winners can be found in every division, from Junior divisions for young fans up through Master classifications. All categories are competitivenessly judged and awarded by experts who know their stuff!

Categories: Junior Division (Also known as the Young Fan Division, less than 13 years of age), Novice, Journeyman Division, Artisan, Master and Out-Of-Competition.

KITT (KNIGHT RIDER)

In the 1982-86 adventure TV series Knight Rider, there was a character named KITT. This short name stood for “Knight Industries Two Thousand” and he/she served as an intelligent personal assistant to Michael knight in his fight against evil throughout all domains of society: corporate America where they worked at companies like FLAG or even government organizations such as NSA which is what some might say made him more human than others could ever hope.

KARR (KNIGHT RIDER)

The Foundation was originally designed by Wilton Knight and built for military purposes. After its completion, they installed a processor that activated KARR: an intelligent machine with self preservation programming but also dangerous if used incorrectly or without consideration of humanitarian interests like those in need abroad; this caused concern among researchers who suspended projects until solutions could be found to safely utilize these machines’ abilities while still protecting humanity’s future.

THE ECTO-1

An ultimate proof of the passion and commitment from a Ghostbusters’ fan! Come take a picture with Ecto-1 Québec -the only replica in Canada. 

This iconic car has been introduced by Louis-Simon Lamontage, founder Sos Fantômes de Montréal since 2013 as part three cars made up for 1959 Cadillac hearses which he purchased at auction two years prior to create it’s complete look through various panels found on these vehicles; even including features such as lights inside or out (even though they aren’t functional).

NSPW WRESTLING

The wrestlers from NSPW are back, ready to fight! Go watch them in the ring located near the Autograph Area of the Main Exhibit Hall. Full schedule will be published 7-10 days before showtime.

FORTERESSE IMPÉRIALE GARRISON – 501ST LEGION

The Imperial Quebec Fortress is a squad of the Canadian Garrison, an international organization that specializes in Star Wars costuming. They have been known for their charity work and making people smile with authentic characters from films such as Return Of The Jedi or Empire Strikes Back!

Quebec comic con offers group discounts for organizations with 20 people or more. Get a 15% discount on the base ticket price!
